  Baby Pool

  At the end of loneliness
all I ever wanted
was to be human.

Storming the ceiling
of  water (dog paddling
my earliest memory)

I generated to-be and not
to-be waves. Citizen swimmer.
I did a fine job, no,
                                    the best job.

Holding my hands
lying in my arms
the world was just the beginning.
