G. Cala is a spoken word performance poet, multimedia/IT specialist from NYC.
He has been writing and performing for twenty-one years with his poetry
published across four continents. His performances include a myriad of
prominent East Coast venues such as Busboys & Poets, Nuyorican Poets Cafe,
Cutting Room, Metropolitan Room, Cornelia Street Cafe and on the college
circuit (SUNY Purchase, Manhattanville, Columbia University, City College).
When not writing and reciting, Douglas is an actively freelancing multimedia
professional and occasional production crew member for theater and film.
